Angelini pharmaceuticals can be found in 60 countries worldwide as a result of its tightly-knit network of licensees.
Angelini’s commercial partners are dynamic local players with a first-class reputation, with which Angelini aims to forge lasting relationships. Angelini provides its international partner companies with either the fine chemicals for manufacturing pharmaceuticals in loco, or finished products for distribution. The chemical agents of most importance to Angelini's international activities are the antidepressant trazodone, the anti-inflammatory benzydamine and the antibiotic prulifloxacin. All of these active substances were manufactured through Angelini's in-house research and have a proven track record in terms of safety and efficacy.
Angelini also intends to increase its presence throughout Europe and in South America.
In India, Angelini has a holding in Elder Pharma, one of the country’s most dynamic pharmaceutical companies. Operating in the fields of ethical and OTC pharmaceuticals and generics, Elder Pharma comes 32nd out of the 2,500 companies operating in the Indian market.
