Tantum Verde tablets are used against the symptoms of sore throat and irritation of the oral cavity. This drug acts as a result of the association between two active ingredients: benzydamine and benzocaine. Benzydamine generates anti-inflammatory and antiseptic effects whereas benzocaine exerts a local anaesthetic action.
