Artific colirio en solución
Hypromellose

One ml of Artific colirio en solución contains 3.20 mg of hypromellose as active substance (methocel F4M). The other ingredients are: cetrimide, sodium dodecahydrate hydrogen phosphate, sodium dihydrate hydrogen phosphate, disodium edetate, sorbitol, water for injection.

1. WHAT Artific colirio en solución IS AND WHAT IT IS USED FOR
Artific colirio en solución is presented in a 10 ml plastic dropper bottle.
Artific is a colourless, transparent and particle-free solution, replacing the lachrymal liquid. Being an eye lubricant, Artific colirio en solución is indicated in the symptomatic treatment of eye dryness.

2. BEFORE YOU USE Artific colirio en solución
Do not use Artific colirio en solución
If you know you are allergic to any of the ingredients of the product.

Be particularly careful with Artific colirio en solución
Wearers of soft contact lenses should remove them before applying Artific colirio en solución, and wait at least 15 minutes to put them back in.

Pregnancy and Lactation
Ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before using any medicine. There is no experience with regard to the safety of this product during pregnancy or lactation.

Driving and using machines
No effects on the capacity to drive or use machines by the use of Artific colirio en solución have been described.

Using other medicines
Please inform your doctor or pharmacist if you are using or have recently used any other medicines, even those not prescribed.
In intraocular application, no interactions with other medicinal products have been described to date.

3. HOW TO USE Artific colirio en solución
Remember to use your medicine.
Follow these instructions unless told to do otherwise by your doctor.
If you have the impression that the effect of Artific colirio en solución is too strong or weak, talk to your doctor or pharmacist.
Artific colirio en solución are eyedrops in solution that must be applied to the eye.
You should normally apply one drop to the eye 3 to 5 times a day, or more frequently if necessary. The treatment of dry eye syndrome requires an individualised dosing system.
Do not use 6 weeks after the first opening.

If you use more Artific colirio en solución than you should
If you have used more Artific colirio en solución than you should, see your doctor or pharmacist immediately.
No adverse effects caused by eye overdose are known and no effects of overdose are expected after application to the eye.
In case of overdose or accidental intake, call the Toxicology Information Service on 91 562 04 20.

If you forget to use Artific colirio en solución
Do not use a double dose to make up for the doses you forgot to use.

4. POSSIBLE SIDE EFFECTS
Like all medicines, Artific colirio en solución may have adverse effects.
Occasionally, they may produce a burning sensation, blurred vision and sticky eyelids.
If you notice any side effects not mentioned in this leaflet, please inform your doctor or pharmacist.

5. STORING Artific colirio en solución
Keep Artific colirio en solución out of the reach and sight of children.
Do not store above 30ºC
Store in the original container.

Expiry
Do not use Artific colirio en solución after the expiry date indicated on the container.
